In 1998, Keith and Sue stumbled across the beautiful Victorian building at 23 Robertson Street, and transformed it into a charming gift and coffee shop; Waterfalls.
They kept most of the original building’s features, bringing an element of the 1850s to their Aladdin’s Cave in the heart of Hastings. As you walk up the staircase to the cosy little coffee shop on the first floor, you can see the Victorian detail, and pass the extraordinary original stained glass window.
Keith and Sue were ahead of the game, and chose to serve vegan and vegetarian options in their coffee shop alongside their exquisite coffees and handmade cakes from the very start. Today, the entire Waterfalls menu is vegan or vegetarian bar one dish, and alternative milks are available for those that still need their early morning caffeine pick-me-ups.
Downstairs, you can find a treasure trove of unique gifts of all kinds perfect for your friends, loved ones or even if you fancy treating yourself!
